Leveling up, body

Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel at night
Feet away from World Drive.

Walked about 50 miles in four days at Walt Disney World.

And stood about 90% of the classroom time (8:00 – 5:00pm).

It helped me keep my sanity.

Praying that a CEO and his team level up after yesterday’s debrief.

From the team, got what feels like a 100% emotional commitment to level up from all the leaders (for their organization’s greater good).

Rested and ready

Rested and ready?

Yep.

Mondays are cool because, in a prefect world, i’ve had two solid rest days.

The basics, right?

Rest.

Motion.

Resistance.

Fuel.

Flexibility.

Core.

Stamina.

Motivation.

Yah mawn!

Hello everyone

Hello everyone.

Nice to see you here today.

Happy present moment.

Soon, this blog will grow dormant.

The creator will not.

But that’s a story for another day, possibly another place.

How long do you plan for?

Apple watch
During this 3-hour excursion, walked seven miles. There were stops (clock keeps ticking) along the way for pull-ups, planks, dips, animal observations. The no-gym gym workout took an additional 20-30 minutes before leaving home to walk.

While walking this morning, thought of friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors who’ve committed to an exercise regime.

At least a 40-year observation.

And then some questions reflexively began, effortlessly:

  1. How long do you plan to exercise?
  2. How long do you plan to eat better?
  3. How long do you plan to get better rest?

There’s only one smart, over-focused answer.

i don’t even need to say it.

Energetic possibilities

Energetic possibilities.

Proactive physical vibrancy decently alleviates, and often eliminates, the aches and pains that aging offers every human.

Energy expended to create lifelong health habits pays dividends. Not quickly though, which is why it’s easy not to commit a lifetime to expending the energy.
