Still sinking in, body

retirement quote

When i say retirement is still sinking in, the sinking in is timely and timeless.

Timely because it’s brand new in 2026.

Timeless because getting and staying physically vibrant is as important now as it was three decades ago.

When you let the timelessness of physical vibrancy sink in, it reminds me physical wellbeing is crucial, every day, day after day, for a lifetime.

Like i said, let that sink in, forever.

Another day in paradise, body

Another day in paradise physically?

Yes.

Alive.

Breath in my lungs.

Sight in my eyes.

Another day in charge of the Temple housing everything keeping me alive.

And now that my work contribution is transforming in a way that only retirement can offer, the thoughts about how i maintain and improve physical vibrancy…

Differently exciting.

Paradise.

A new day is dawning, body

A new day dawns, everyday.

Without fail.

We’ll spend the day moving.

What a gift.

Everyday.

Move like you mean it.

Leveling up, body

Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel at night
Feet away from World Drive.

Walked about 50 miles in four days at Walt Disney World.

And stood about 90% of the classroom time (8:00 – 5:00pm).

It helped me keep my sanity.

Praying that a CEO and his team level up after yesterday’s debrief.

From the team, got what feels like a 100% emotional commitment to level up from all the leaders (for their organization’s greater good).

Love to change?

Lunch time, with a view.

Zooming through the window a bit. Feeding our bodies and our spirits. My seven-year old self is impressed and inspired.

What is your relationship with discomfort?

Love to change?

Or, love to grow?

Grow requires, demands, change.

Shunning discomfort is shunning growth.

Loving discomfort is loving growth.

Glad we cleared that up.
