jeff noel Lane 8 You Tube video on Hard Work

Orlando’s jeff noel, from Lane 8, You Tube video on hard work.

The other day jeff noel was at Dr. Phillips High School, at the Bill Spoon Stadium, running 400 meter intervals, in preparation for the 2009 Master’s Track & Field World Championships, in Finland.

I’ve found the harder I work, the luckier I get. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

Mile World Record

One mile World Record broken not only once, but twice in the same race.

Wow!

There once was a time when people thought a human body couldn’t handle running a mile in less than four minutes.

Remember?

Roger Bannister did it on May 6, 1954, in 3:59.4

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

National Champions Texas A&M!

The 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Champions are Texas A&M.  Go Aggies!

Not only did the Texas A&M women win the National title, but so did the Texas A&M men’s track team.

Here’s the aricle on this amazing feat that hasn’t been done since 1990.

My thoughtful wife actually saw the meet being televised.  She knows that Track & Field is the one sport I try to make time to watch.

While writing several blog posts yesterday, I was able to follow the action.  It’s always special and inspiring to me, to see something significant and rare happen.

Change in plans?

Lane 8 has a change in plans.

Instead of driving out to the National Training Center, in Clermont, for the 2009 Sunshine State Games, I’ve decided to head to a closer track for a speed workout.

Turbulent times call for tough decisions.  Right?

This is a gut feeling that I’m taking the better of two options.

Many times, I simply ask myself a question that I learned decades ago from Zig Zigler.

“Will this action take me closer to, or farther from, my goal”?

I’m following where my enthusiasm leads me.

Meanwhile, may I humbly suggest you follow this link at jungle jeff for more on the power of ENTHUSIASM?

Dream big and carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
