If you can’t, should you?

MacBook commercial screen shot
MacBook commercial screenshot. Stereotypical image, right? Kids sucked up in their devices. Yes, while they use these devices to change our world.

If you can’t, should you?

If you can’t do what is necessary, should you be doing what isn’t?

Taking care of your health and wellness is necessary.

To not do that and then spend your time doing entertaining, distracting, and medicating activities, is, well, what do you think it is?

All of this has burned to the ground in the past few days.

To know is to do. To know and not do, is to not yet know.

Cardio, strength, flexibility, core, nutrition, sleep, and motivation.

All seven.

They are yours to use or to ignore.

Hitting snooze is a symptom

iPhone clock
Yikes.

Hitting snooze is a symptom.

For what?

Not getting enough sleep.

Even after eight hours last night, this morning i hit snooze three times.

An extra 27 minutes of sleeping – nine minutes per snooze.

i never do this, even though i spent from my 18th birthday to my 40th birthday doing it daily.

Why this morning?

For seven nights in Glacier National Park last week, i averaged six hours of sleep, including the final night getting only 4.5 hours.

You only get today once

Disney Innovation speaker
Brochure in our stateroom.

You only get today once.

How’d you sleep last night, and when are you planning to climb into bed tonight?

Today, what are you planning to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner (and snacks)?

Today, will you do anything that raises your heart rate (and deepens your breathing) for 20-30 minutes?

Today, will you do anything that requires your strength – also raising your heart rate and deepening your breathing?

Today, will you stretch your large muscle groups?

Today, will you move in ways that challenge your core?

Today, are you motivated to do the six things above or are you planning to skip today because tomorrow seems like you’ll be better situated to do them?
