Paperwork playoffs, body

Have spent four decades of collecting and subsequent saving and storing three three-drawer file cabinets full of Disney paperwork.

A lifetime of hope-filled effort.

The consistent and thoughtful Disney paper-collecting is synonymous with a lifetime of regular exercise, adequate rest, and proper nutrition.

Serious, intentional, focused long-term effort creates unique genre assets.

In this case, world-class business correspondence, and, excellent physical vibrancy results.

The world-class Disney paper assets are under final scrutiny now, since commencing about 10 days ago.

Nearly two weeks of ‘final’ purging.

i’m calling it the playoffs.

For the past 10-ish days, have been working through metaphorical quarterfinals, semifinals, and now, today after i write today’s posts, start the finals.

Dear Son, the blog category ‘dear son’ is on all five blog websites.

What you probably don’t know is that everything i write could start with, “Dear Son,”.

Everything.

Small example…

Dear Son, you don’t remember me being unfit. What really happened though is after you were born i committed to getting and staying physically vibrant. The commitment’s ‘streak’ is closer to 30 years than 20.

And it was especially challenging in the moments and the years when i was tempted to pause, or worse, quit.

But…

Never paused.

Never quit.

From this was born, “Find a million ways to stay motivated.”

How could you?

You were just a kid.

What you didn’t know is…

How being your dad inspired and guided everything i did (and why i did it)…

Like getting and staying healthy even with a new career (speaker), frequent travel, and a history of health peaks and valleys. Because when i started at Disney Institute at 40, it was the same year i received a health ‘wake-up call’.

You’ll never recall me being unfit. Why? Because i began a physical vibrancy journey that’s now 26 years old and counting.
