18 days until it starts

Are you self-motivated?

No, seriously.

Do you talk to yourself?

Do you allow the long list of limitations to influence the height of your goals?

Stop it. Okay? Just stop.

January 1, 2015 is 18 days away (yes, this won’t post until March 23 – decided long ago to not let a unique posting schedule be a limitation.)

Who gives a crap if you’ve struggled your whole life?

Totally get it. Been there… and still…

And everyday after waking it’s back to the salt mines of kicking doubt and fear’s ass butt.

Why would now be the second best time to exercise?

Orlando Wellness Motivational Speakers

(photo: Visited Middle School yesterday at lunch simply to hang out. The adopted (stray) classroom cat is living the dream.)

The three best times to exercise?

Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.

If you haven’t exercised in a long time the best time to exercise is soon.

The second best is now.

Why would now be second best?

Because odds are overwhelmingly great that exercising now (today) will not happen.

Odds of you convincing yourself and doing it ‘soon’ are still low, but much greater than ‘now’.

It’s not an option for you

orlando professional speakers

(photo: Walking through Gold’s Gym Orlando parking lot yesterday snapped a photo unintentionally.)

Push yourself.

No one else is gonna do it.

Not for as long as you’ll need to be pushed.

As in all your life.

Anyone other than you will give up quickly.

It’s not an option for you.

You know this, right?

Let’s-keep-going good

Orlando Wellness Keynote Speakers

(photo: Went from wanting to quit to running for an hour. Crazy. Transformational. Again.)

Wanted to begin the last run by walking a half mile first. But mustered a slow jog from the end of the driveway.

Really wasn’t feeling it.

At all.

And somewhere – about 30 minutes in – it started getting good.

Effortless.

Enjoyable.

Let’s-keep-going good.

(motivation is fuel)

Find a million ways.

Your answer will mirror your actions

WordPress Word Camp 2014 CLEF stickers

(photo: CLEF also tested ‘forget passwords’ and ‘find passwords’…. this phrase won by a margin of 40:1)

What if we could forget, find, or f@*k excuses?

Our habits literally shape us.

When was the last time we exercised?

Now look in the mirror.

See that?

Your answer will mirror your actions.

You really are old enough and smart enough to know that either:

  • your excuses are invalid
  • your efforts are a great investment

You are the CEO of You, Inc.

Period.

PS. We must fight like hell for our health one way or another.
