Final answer America?

Apple Store list by state

(photo: Only three Apple stores in all of Oregon. Only one in all of Rhode Island. But no shortage of unhealthy food.)

Most over fed, under nourished society?

How is this possible?

America, seriously?

Say it ain’t so.

What is your health mantra?

What is your health mantra?

Stay healthy, have fun.

Simple? Sure.

Easy? Um, that would be a “no”.

So easy to push ourselves before we are ready. This is how we get injured.

Injuries provide a great excuse to quit.

Dear Son, fun is in the physical freedom

Orlando Wellness Speakers

(photo: Apple Sore window caption: “From one gift come many”.)

Dear Son, from one gift, physical health, come many.

Please do not take offense if the following does not describe you now.

Yet know it IS achievable if we are willing to burn the ships of old habits, excuses, and fears.

Fun is in the physical freedom.

To taste the weirdly wonderful joy of loose fitting clothing.

To feel unembarrassed poolside or beachside. Or anywhere.

You are already youthful. Every 14 year old is.

But to feel strong, flexible, vibrant.

To feel deep personal integrity in our food choices and portions.

To place sleep on our high priority list.

We are lean when we are active and intentional.

Do one thing today that’s easy

Do one thing today that’s easy.

For example, do one pushup (or whatever).

Tomorrow do the same.

Do this five days the first week.

The second week, try doing two pushups a day.

If that two is too much too soon, stay with one a day for another five days.

This is the easiest path to wellness.

Make your progress small and steady.

The goal is to never make it too hard to succeed.

The impossible goal should only be to never quit.

(photo: Midlife crisis or Midlife Celebration? As the CEO of You, Inc, you get to pick.)

We are what we repeatedly do. We’ve heard it all before. Excellence is a habit.

And if we subscribe to this common sense notion, then our health is either our success or our weakness.

We celebrate if we are active.

We deny it if we are inactive.

Can’t hide it either way.

Be the change.
