Reprise: Random photo day, body

Spring Grove, PA
Heading West on Route 116, take a right at my Grandparent’s Main Street Spring Grove, Pennsylvania row home (and the Ford dealership) to drive a few blocks to the (old) High School, the one my dad and i attended.

Feeling happy, healthy, and alive.

Not much more to ask for.

Random photo day, body

quote about aging
Aging is natural and unstoppable. How we age is largely our choice. And, obviously, there are exceptions. Few people are exceptions.

Aging.

A blessing some never experience.

Aging.

An adventure.

Aging.

An inconvenience.

Aging.

The ultimate extreme sport.

Habits and ambitions, body

Disney Speakers jeff noel
Our clocks are always ticking. Over-focus on healthy habits that we used to under-focus on or ignore.

Culture equals habits.

Habits equal results.

Therefore culture equals results.

Now, transfer this insight to health:

Personal health culture equals habits.

Habits equal results.

Personal health equals results.

The math is simple to follow…

Poor results from poor habits.

Good results from good habits.

Great results from great habits.

The trap to be busy, body

quote about living well
Start simple. Dream big. Be well. Vibrancy can be architected by systems and processes you control.

Being busy is not the same as living fully.

Being busy kills my ability to move well.

Being busy poisons my ability to rest well.

Being busy kills my ability to fuel (eat) well.

Being busy stifles my ability to find a million fun ways to stay motivated.

Being busy kills my ability to be an example rather than a warning.

To keep writing or stop, body

Disney Business Books author jeff noel
Writing at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Long ago, maybe 2014?

Life’s juicy and important stuff is what i want to write about.

The opportunity to dance with aging and inevitable decline.

This is potentially life’s most wondrous phase because there’s no escaping death.

And being closer to 70 than to 60, death is on the horizon.

My juicy challenge and opportunistic goal is to finish well.

Obviously, the elephant in the room is an unexpected illness, disease, or accident that could surface anytime. Additionally, this applies to Cheryl as well.

i want to continue writing now, more than i want to stop.

Note: That said, i’m working (and have been for a while) to find breakthrough WordPress Admin writing structure to scale the backend work that no one sees but i have to do religiously. Really looking to shed the daily admin prep – that admin time has other, more important uses, yet to be discovered.
