Been thinking about our neighborhood.

The biannual homeowners meeting should happen in two days. But no invitation, as is historically customary, has arrived.

Long story short, the neighborhood is not even close to what it used to be. And i find myself extraordinarily grateful for being here for 2 1/2 decades of “the glory days”.

Physical patience

Physical ‘patience’ is key to rebuilding my personal vibrancy.

i am closer to 70 years young than i am to 60 years young.

This is new territory.

Dramatically new territory.

The retina tear in 2023 dramatically nullified my ability to exercise. Doctor’s orders to be a couch potato. Hated it. Accepted it. And hopefully i was, paradoxically, grateful for it.

My 25-year personal vibrancy journey came to an abrupt halt. And sat dormant for nearly a year.

Patience will facilitate self-kindness when i can’t or shouldn’t do something i used to do. For example, hike alone to summit Piegan Mountain.
