Disney Creativity and foot pain

Started the (second MacBook Air) migration mid-morning and then bicycled to Disney.
Apple Watch and space mountain
Biked five miles to here, then walked 2.5 miles around the Contemporary.

Had to walk the bicycle five miles home. But wait, good news, after one mile of walking the bike, i discovered the small air pump. Got just enough air in the flat tire to bike the remaining four miles home.

Intentionally gave feet a rest today.

Bicycled to Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Why?

To accomplish two goals:

  1. Rest the feet
  2. Do reconnaissance at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Why?

Keep .thinking .differently

When people ask me how many Cast Members work at Disney, i reply, “On a good day, about half.”

Ps. That was a joke.

Insight: Thinking differently is what made the above ‘keep out’ sign kinda fun, and certainly not intimidating.

Business brainstorming, body

Business brainstorming is like exercise.

There’s strength and stamina involved to stay focused.

There’s flexibility to think, speak, and listen.

There’s core too. Staying true to your core beliefs, yet staying flexible to hear (and think) different ideas.

Of course, there’s rest. After brainstorming, rest for a day or more. Come back refreshed and restart idea generation. And maybe give it a third rest for a week or more.

Finally, there’s nutrition, also called fuel. What fuel are you feeding your creativity? What books, blogs, videos, masterclasses, etc are you consistently consuming?
