No one teaches us to fight back and refuse to do it that way. So easy to blend in and ignore the logical guilt for not exercising, not eating well, and not getting adequate rest. No one else does. Right?

The photo represents the obscene lack of ‘mileage’ most adults put into their health and wellness bank.

The challenge with progress is how to keep making it when we aren’t making progress. Temptations to quit are relentless, and insidiously small and powerful.

If we remember only one thing today let it be this – this too shall pass. But it will return tomorrow to try and defeat us again.

One day at a time.

We become an example or a warning by our daily routine.

Isn’t retirement supposed to dump a ton of extra time our way? Day two of second retirement week (yesterday) was supposed to include a one hour walk.  Didn’t happen.

Too many other competing things to do. Overall it was a great day, just lacked physical activity.

Not only is this the final week of employment at Walt Disney World, Cheryl has been gone unexpectedly all week on a family emergency.

Add in 6am report times all week too.

This week of no exercise will be the exceptional exception.
