Clutter steals our wellness

Beauty, if we but raise our head.

Clutter steals our wellness.

When our schedule is cluttered with things that keep us from regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest – we have only two choices. Change or don’t change. Clutter is a great arguement for not changing.

Why could I not find a single person?

Catholic Church social hall
Last night’s Eagle Scout celebration dinner.

Why could i not find a single person who needed to defend their physical health in a convincing manner?

Someone who made time for exercise, was intentional about their food choices and intake, (and invisibly focused on adequate rest), in a deliberate yet unobtrusive way.

Similar to an intensely spiritual person who has the ability to not make others uncomfortable with their passion.

Is that unreasonable?

Insight: What does defending something resemble? It would look, sound, and feel like someone who is “in training” for something.

These seven universally apply to any type of exercise

World class wellness tips on napkin

These seven universally apply to any type of exercise:

  1. Anaerobic/Endurance
  2. Aerobic/Strength
  3. Core
  4. Flexibility
  5. Diet
  6. Rest
  7. Motivation/Goals

Improve one, they all improve. Neglect one, they all suffer.

Then compound the effects either way when two, three or four are improved or suffer.

Ignoring this does not negate it’s truth.
