Palm Tree Sunrise at Orlando airport

No time for exercise yesterday. Up at 4:30am. Out the door at 6:00am. In bed 11:00pm

Days like this happen frequently.

It’s how we organize our others days that determines whether exercise is a habit or not.

Self motivation is art… be an artist

Orlando Based wellness speakers

Looking forward to this morning’s run around campus.

What are you looking forward to this morning?

PS. There are plenty of other things an Orlando based leadership speaker could be doing with the time it will take to complete the run. Gonna run anyway.

Maybe exercise helps a speaker deliver a better speech.

Southern California mountains at dusk from Delta jet
Bit foggy desending last night. Will see what sunrise this morning brings.

Five midlife reasons to love Disneyland – one themed reason on each blog:

The three hour time difference should help facilitate early morning runs in the park and around Anaheim.

Pretty sure they are not up for what the legs will want to do

Four Points South Winnipeg Sheraton
Upper left – the snow is piled higher than that car (April 10)

Dang, long distance travel, freezing cold temps, and long work days are really a tough mountain to climb.

The up side?

Legs will be very rested for the 5k in two days.

Lungs?

Pretty sure they are not up for what the legs will want to do.

Should be interesting, and hopefully, fun.

This is a moving target and we know it

Jack the bear in Saskatoon airport
Without running, all this traveler sees is the airport and the hotel

One of the biggest contributors to our ability to handle the things that cause us stress, like tragedy, is our focus on our physical health.

This is a moving target and we know it.

Even though it’s difficult to accomplish it is not a reason to give up and accept less.

Knowing the weather in Saskatoon would be well below freezing the entire stay, the strategy switched from exercise to sleep.

Happy to report three consecutive nights with nearly eight hours sleep.
