Part yes, part no

Run Disney
13.1 miles

Part yes, part no.

Temptation. Should we or shouldn’t we?

We need filters.

Filters come from vision and purpose.

Ran a half-marathon two days ago, Friday. Could run another tomorrow (Monday) morning.

Doing things faster and better is not the solution

Be first in your category or be the category. Boldness does have genius.

What does this mean for wellness? It means you’re in charge. It’s your responsibility to find creative solutions to impossible obstacles.

Culture quote
Read the executive summary for “A Year Without Pants” the other day.

Maybe he doesn’t live in the real world. Maybe he unfairly gets more hours per day than everyone else.

Maybe he’s learned to be intentional where most are unintentional.

Focus and discipline will reward you when you least expect it.

Creativity knows you care, and rewards you, when you embrace it like a trusted friend.

Yesterday’s run was cut short because of time. A five mile run became meaningful and motivating when it was approached differently than in the past.

What if i could run it in less than 40 minutes? This would require a level of focus and effort rarely accomplished outside of an organized race. Bottomline it was motivating enough to accomplish something cool… 38:36.

After the first warmup mile, the last four miles averaged 7:24. Never saw that coming.
