Too morbid or too intense?

What are we capable of? Most of will never know. Sad.

How present do we need to be in order to live as if we were dying?

Too morbid or too intense?

And if we could be that present, would we come alive in a way that felt like hitting the lottery?

And if we could reach that sort of euphoria, would it be sustainable?

Would we become overbearing or inspiring?

Your move.

Especially when we don’t feel like it

screen shot of run times

(photo: screen shot of the alternating walk and run times… Lap 1 was a 17-minute walk)

Life has a funny way of delivering on common sense if we allow it. Especially when we don’t feel like allowing it. Mostly because we think today is going to be the exception.

Felt the need to run but really didn’t feel like running. So it began as a walk.

After a mile or so, decided to run – it was only for three minutes. Just wasn’t feeling it.

Turned off the coastal road and hit the beach and had a strong headwind.

Eureka!

Nearly 20 minutes of running later, a break with a nine-minute walk. Followed by eight more minutes of jogging.

An hour after ‘not feeling like running’, felt refreshed and alive.

Conscious cleared.

It’s literally a universal goal

Walt Disney World Cast Member
Some people have an obligation (a passion) to be the deepest thinker in the room, no matter what room it is

While the goal of most Master’s Athletes is not fame, still there is a burning goal.

To get and stay healthy.

Simple. No?

Most lifetime athletes must be very creative to stay motivated. Motivation is action. Action is key.

This bleeds over into every area of a balanced person’s life.

Simple. No?

“To 55″… yes, age is also a risk factor for foot (or any) injuries

It’s probably achilles tendonitis.

Probably stimulated from wearing different orthotics for a week. And possibly from not changing out running shoes soon enough.

Just enough difference to put strain where there normally isn’t.

What keeps us going when the most unexpected setback taunts us yet again?

For most of our life there’s a third overwhelmingly popular choice

Life’s Big Choices? There are five.

Find a way or make a way.

For most of our life there’s a third overwhelmingly popular choice.

Opt to not make a choice.

While the focus here is exercise, it applies to all five of life’s big choices.

For example, when was the last time you exercised? How would vibrant health impact your attitude, spirit, energy at work, energy at home?
