No more than 3 or 4 days ago

Look Darling, you can never neglect your body. Also, you can never wear a cape.

No more than 3 or 4 days ago.

What?

Your answer to, “When was the last time you exercised?”

i don’t always love to workout

Last night. Walked a 5k (round trip) to have dinner at Japan.

i don’t always love to workout.

But this morning, and for about the last month, i have loved every one.

Why?

In nursing a clavicle injury and needing to change the main core exercises i’ve done for a decade, a new core routine is born.

The change is refreshing.

Sometimes forced change is the only thing that changes us.

Take it when that happens.

It’s a gift.

Time to bike a marathon?

Grizzly Bear in Glacier. The hump is a classic identifying sign.

Time to bike a marathon?

Today?

Yes, today.

Okay, sure.

West Orlando WordPress meets at Axum Coffee in downtown Winter Garden at 8:30 AM this morning.

Mark your calendar for the first Friday of every month. See ya there.

Finding your rhythm

Second place, 20-year old Sydney McLaughlin, was only 2/100ths of a second off the old world record.

Finding your rhythm has many meanings.

For me one of those meanings is adapting to lifestyle change.

Developing lifestyle normalcy happens through intentional over-focusing, and a growing confidence.

Hoping for a Monday morning Baltimore Anytime Fitness workout in two hours.

When you miss 10 days

Yesterday, back to running after a two week absence.

When you go 10 days without a gym workout, you’re in one of two places:

  1. The cusp of quitting
  2. Excited to get back in

When you don’t run for two weeks…you should substitute some other cardio activity like walking and/or biking.

There was no gym in Glacier nor was there one close by, but there was plenty of trail – trails are everywhere.
