Singing is neither cardio nor strength training. But when done by amateurs, it’s entertaining to the point of belly laughs, which is actually a mild form of core training.

Take what you can get.

Yet use this only as a short-term workout.

Get back to real cardio as soon as possible.

Work took priority over exercise yesterday. Called an audible because the day prior had seen a strong bike ride and a great core workout at Gold’s Gym.

So yesterday became an ‘active rest’ day.

What do we do when our grand plans for our normal exercise routine fall apart?

Yesterday’s morning workload extended into the heat of mid morning and I no longer had any desire or ambition to run in the heat.

Went for an hour long walk in the tree-lined community across the street.
