People think i love to run. If you’re lucky, half your life exercise will feel like a get-to-do and the other half will feel like a have-to-do. Aim for a minimum of 51% get to and 49% have to.

Bob tells the story that Warren said when you hire someone you should hire for three things:
If the candidate has two out of three but lacks integrity, the first two will kill you.
Same with wellness, except the opposite.
If you lack integrity for physical vibrancy, no amount of brains nor energy will convince you to become physically vibrant.

The long way is the shortcut.
When i recommitted to not only getting back into a high level of physical well-being in 1999 at age 40, i also recommitted to staying well for the rest of my life.
Twenty years later, it is easy to see how much commitment was necessary and how the results stand like a beacon for being dedicated to honoring the temple that houses everything keeping you alive.
