Be the wellness you wish to see

Last night.

Be the wellness you wish to see.

Start with that easy hydration win after you awaken.

Seven days a week.

Easy peasy.

Know your ideal hours of nightly sleep.

Establish a night and morning routine that facilitates a greater number of nights to achieve your ideal number.

Want some cheese with that whine?

Want some cheese with that whine?

Have an invitation to be a Disney podcast guest in two days. The challenge is it starts at 8:00 PM.

Dude, seriously?

Remember the preaching about not conforming to fit in?

Who should give?

Would my answer be different if Tim Ferriss invited me on his show?

Totally.

Kidding.

Questions like these almost always start with, “It depends.”

Do not hit snooze

iPhone clock
i do not always get eight hours of sleep. But i always have it as the goal and always strive to achieve it daily.

Do not hit the snooze button.

Why?

Staying in bed past the time you wanted to wake up is an insidiously unproductive habit. It masks a deeper root cause.

It is a habit fed by a lack of important life elements:

  • Sleep
  • Purpose
  • Motivation

To live a life void of these three elements seems careless and criminal.

Sleep goals help

Last night’s sleep total. Since back from working in Glacier, been getting decent sleep.

Sleep goals help me get the sleep that makes sense.

It seems so obvious, but without a daily sleep hours goal (8 hours), why would i make bedtime a priority?

Finding your rhythm

Second place, 20-year old Sydney McLaughlin, was only 2/100ths of a second off the old world record.

Finding your rhythm has many meanings.

For me one of those meanings is adapting to lifestyle change.

Developing lifestyle normalcy happens through intentional over-focusing, and a growing confidence.

Hoping for a Monday morning Baltimore Anytime Fitness workout in two hours.
