One mailbox a day 2020

Disney Institute speaker
Mid-2000’s flashback.

One mailbox a day 2020.

Will it begin tomorrow?

We’d be (April) Fools not to.

72-hour challenge

Yesterday, met Cheryl at work so we could ride together to Epcot last night. Took this photo of the 2001 photo in her office. i began a consistent workout habit this same year.

Three days later, wrist is improving.

Ice, heat, ibuprofen, and a wrist brace.

Straightforward.

Common sense.

Amazing what can happen in three days.

Remarkable what can happen in nearly two decades using common sense.

Will i return to running soon?

Will you?

Danger, dreamers ahead

Where impossible doesn’t exist. It’s up to you to decide.

Dreamers are at risk of getting laughed at, and or disappointed. Dream anyway.

A big part of 2020 dreams revolve around impossible, including running again.

Stop Pre

Ran to and from the gym yesterday and took the shortest route due to an early airport departure.

Steve Prefontaine was the catalyst for the American “jogging movement” in the 1970’s.

He was literally unbeatable and held every American running record (indoors and outdoors) from 1,000 meters to the 5,000).

An opposing team created t-shirts that said, “Stop Pre”.

It didn’t work.

He was a rebel who also happened to be a runner. That’s a story for a Google search in your spare time.

RIP Steve: May 30, 1975 (car accident). He was 24.

First rain run

Hallmark valentines Cards
Love yourself. Love the temple that houses everything keeping you alive. Valentine’s Day is tomorrow.

First rain run.

Out the door at 5:15am (20 minutes ago). Cheryl remarked, “This is my first rain run.”

To which i thought, “Cool, and, it’s cold and dark too.”

So many reasons to skip.

But none of them are “because it would improve our health”.
