Hoping you have (or will get to) experienced this phenomenon before you die

First to arrive and last to leave makes running a challenge when traveling

Lately, the active (planned) rest days have felt wonderful. No guilt, extra time, and a feeling that less is more.

And to have two active rest days in a row doubles the joy.

Hoping you are experiencing this phenomenon before you die.

Today’s exercise calls for active rest. Good thing too. No time for running this morning while putting finishing touches on a transformational keynote speech.

Active rest is a reward for our body – recovery, recuperation.

Transformational in a way.

What one thing will we do to maintain our wellness? The past week, Been focusing on sleep, trying to get eight hours a night. It happened two out of five nights so far. Imagine it being zero for five if there was no focus.

By the way, Cheryl was away all week and work needed me six of seven days. There’s always some excuse we can make.

Once again confirming what we already know – there’s more to wellness than diet and exercise.
