The truth hurts or delivers freedom

Powerful thought about attitude
From a graphic artist’s Instagram feed yesterday. Love the paradox of popular vs unpopular perspective.

To measure if you have enough motivation to get and stay healthy for a lifetime, determine the costs required and then continuously pay them.

If you don’t get and stay healthy for a lifetime, it’s because you didn’t have enough motivation or you tried to negotiate the price.

Why was it a quick decade?

Carbon Wynwood Miami
Miami Street Art scene transformed a run-down section of Miami.

Why was it a quick decade?

 Time flies.

Like quietly promising ourselves we’re going to get healthy one day, a decade can pass and nothing happens. Or, 10 years pass and we become vibrantly healthy.

Can you answer this question with conviction?

father and son at Cinderella Castle
After school yesterday, we walked 3+ miles in search of a few Disney hats.

Can you answer this question with conviction?

What’s holding you back from becoming vibrantly healthy?

What’s holding you back?

Archery target explaination
Always aim for the bullseye. Hitting the target is good. Repeatedly hitting the bullseye is great.

What’s holding you back?

You need to answer this question.

Until you do, you’re dreams and your reality will never meet.

We’ll be back to normal in three weeks

people walking in the morning
Saw 9 people walking yesterday, January 3. This is nine more than i usually see on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

We’ll be back to normal in three weeks.

Somewhere around January 21, 2019, the four-mile roundtrip walks to and from the gym will be like they were in 2018.

 Just me.

No other walkers.

No one creates a life on what they’re gonna do.
