BFF with denialism?

Disneyland Passes collection

(photo: Having fun and busy schedules are a great distraction from committing to a consistent wellness regime.)

Most if not all of us have a long history of denialism. It’s a comfortable coat we wear, even when we aren’t cold.

We eat because of all the stress in our life and food provides comfort.

And this comfort causes weight gain discomfort which starts the cycle all over again

Gained a few pounds the past five days while at Disneyland.

don’t let other people’s failed dreams infect our determination for our own

What’s Wrong With Our Motivation?

Mountain Or Molehill Of Motivation?
Mountain Or Molehill Of Motivation?

What’s wrong with our motivation?

Maybe there’s nothing wrong with it.

Why are we so challenged to stay motivated?

Maybe we aren’t.

What do the greatest athletes, artists, leaders, do that separates their motivation from the rest of us?

Maybe they don’t do anything differently, except one thing.

They will do tomorrow, the same thing they did today, only better.

What’s stopping us from doing that?

Damn the Doubt!

Damn the Doubt!

First pain, then doubt.

Add in the underlying concern about expenses in both time and money, not only to travel to Finland, but the constant preparation.

It does wear on me.  A lot of things wear on humans.  We are all carrying a heavy load.

Yesterday’s “walk, stretch, slow jog, stretch combo”, for about 35 minutes, was relatively pain free.

A far cry from the previous day.  This added some hope, to what could have been a hopeless day.

Heading out for another run before Church, so I better get going.

Make it a GREAT Sunday, because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?  Seriously!  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂
