If Disney Ran Your Health

If Disney Ran Your Health:

  1. You’d be grateful, for starters
  2. You’d be held accountable for success
  3. You’d be expected to deliver great results
  4. You’d feel proud of being associated with a mindset that only accepts excellence as the norm
  5. You’d not only be healthier, but much healthier than now

Disney’s Shared Roadway

Yesterday riding home from Magic Kingdom, one of my favorite Disney roadsigns.

It’s likely that the shared roadway sign is for the North Services Area.

Since 1984, i have been bicycling through Walt Disney World (WDW), mostly as a way to get to and from work.

These days, kinda the same thing.

i can work from anywhere and i prefer WDW over just about anywhere, except Glacier National Park.

Cut through Disney to get to gym

Rode to Epcot yesterday, on the way to the gym.

Cut through Disney to get to gym.

On a bicycle.

Somewhere around 20 miles or so.

It was a lovely New Year’s Day morning treat.

Hope today and the rest of the week (month, year, decade, life) is filled with treats that you appreciate and enjoy.

Take the Disney downtown train

On the walk from where i parked the bicycle, heading to the stairwell for some vertical exercise (and a view).

Biked to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to do a few flights of stairs.

Just a little something to break up the morning routine.

Needed to get away from my desk too, so i could change what i see.

When you change what you see, what you see changes.

Life’s five big choices all support each other.

It’s a beautiful, and powerful, synergy.

Did you DU?

Josh replaces George as Walt Disney World President.
Walked to gym, then decided to keep walking. From home to DU is only 3 miles. Arrival at Disney University at 9:00 AM (if you zoom in on Watch).
Stayed an hour and left at 10AM (upper right). Took a Lyft home.
Delightful and surprising fun never gets old.

Never gets old.

What?

Walking or riding a bicycle to Walk Disney World.

Entered the gym yesterday and wasn’t feeling it. Been nursing a clavicle injury. Immediately decided to keep walking and used Disney University as the carrot.
