The dividends from being vibrantly healthy

Clermont Florida Five Mile Road
Received photo yesterday from Associate High School Director.

One of our Son’s High School administrators is a runner. Discovered this yesterday (6th day of school year) in an email exchange we shared.

He sent the map above with the ‘hidden Mickey’ in the bottom center.

Why?

Because of my intentionality in relationship building.

While this website/blog is about physical health, everything is connected.

Being vibrantly healthy builds confidence and confidence builds relationships.

And everyone knows that relationships, in any business, are key to getting things done faster and better.

Note: Two days ago my run had us crossing paths in the High School parking lot. He was arranging traffic cones and i was soaked in sweat as the sun was still below the horizon. He was “impressed with my time management skills”.

Never have any more unremarkable days?

Church sign at night

(photo: Yesterday morning’s run… tried to capture the Church sign’s address… Flint, MI… for posterity… camera didn’t cooperate)

Can we get to a point where our days are no longer unremarkable?

Driving to Detroit in 90 minutes to fly home from what is now officially the last business trip as a Walt Disney World Cast Member.

Yesterday’s run was the next to last road trip run and in a few minutes, this morning’s run will be the last as a Cast Member.

Our lives click by one unremarkable day at a time.

The opportunity is to work hard to get to a place where we never have any more unremarkable days.

Brag about frequent flyer status? Why?

Life’s pace can be grueling.

Whether you travel for work or not.

This tempts us to make exceptions to eating well, exercising, and getting adequate rest.

Especially without the luxury of a dwelling space (home) conducive to all three.

Anyone who confesses a premium frequent flyer status most likely has difficulty with all three.

There are no excuses worth justifying or accepting.

Figure it out.

Dear Son, You Do Remember How I Became A World Class Master’s Athlete, Right?

Go Son, go!
You become great at anything...one race at a time.

Dear Son, you do remember how your Dad became a world class Master’s athlete, right? I applied everything I learned at Disney. Whether it’s running a company or running 400 meters. Both can be done in a world class manner, if you are willing to apply common sense.
