Floss this

Last night, watching the CMA’s.

Floss this.

What?

Read snarky into it. Yes, i’m being snarky in an effort to crack a smile while addressing a reality – no one gets giddy at the end of every day thinking about how they “can’t wait” to spend 5-10 minutes flossing.

Flossing is one of the last things done each day.

Tired of it.

And then i think how blessed i am to have teeth to fuss over.

Flossing is still a thing only i can do.

Deeds, not words

Met a friend for lunch yesterday (pictured above), he’s in his mid-50s, single, and he says, and has been saying, for a long time that he wants to work out more. Deeds, not words reveal the truth. Same with someone who says they want to publish a book.

Deeds, not words.

Clear?

Good.

Be amazed and be amazing.

By the way, i’m talking about physical vibrancy deeds. Wanting to work out but not working is like not wanting to work out. i know it sounds stupid, because i totally wish i had all seven Disney Business books published by now.

The “deeds, not words” mantra is inspired by the reality that i currently have no Disney Business books publicly available. i guess i really do not want to publish Disney Business books.

Move like you mean it

An after-dinner three mile roundtrip walk to Grinnell Glacier Overlook from Granite Park Chalet.

Move like you mean it.

When we have a (private) personal script for the various exercise activities we don’t like, does this give us permission to simply give up and not worry about being active for the rest of our life?

How cool is it that we can over-write negative scripts with remarkably positive, self-fulfilling scripts?

Selling is exercise

Donovan Brazier broke the 34-year old American 800-meter record a few days ago at the World Championships in Doha.

Selling is exercise.

Why wait on your weight?

What are the advantages and disadvantages to weighing yourself every morning?

May the advantages far outweigh any perceived disadvantages.
