The art of dying well

Bought it. Kindle version.

A fellow retired Disney colleague recommended a book: The Art of Dying Well.

Just started reading the Kindle version on the iPhone.

Over-focusing is the key to being proactive.

Death can come at any time.

The time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining.

Everyone is watching

Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow. No one is listening to what we say, they’re all watching what we do.

Everyone is watching.

One month away from the end of 2019.

The gyms and sidewalks will be busier then the rest of the year.

Give it three weeks and it will be back to normal.

Maybe codependence is holding you back.

Maybe it’s insidious codependence with pleasure, or fear, or maybe even apathy.

Doesn’t matter what it is, it’s yours to conquer.

This may be your great moment.

How cool is that?

History repeats itself

Biking on Sanibel Island
Neither of us had/have active parents.

They say history repeats itself.

That’s up to you to believe or not.

Because your parents lived an inactive life means you will too?

More Next

If possible, Next will involve more cycling in GNP.

There’s more to my Next:

  • physical vibrancy
  • be a stronger example
  • break self-discipline barriers
  • meal prep & partaking becomes spiritual?

Maybe even start a garden…probably not, but maybe.

Floss this

Last night, watching the CMA’s.

Floss this.

What?

Read snarky into it. Yes, i’m being snarky in an effort to crack a smile while addressing a reality – no one gets giddy at the end of every day thinking about how they “can’t wait” to spend 5-10 minutes flossing.

Flossing is one of the last things done each day.

Tired of it.

And then i think how blessed i am to have teeth to fuss over.

Flossing is still a thing only i can do.
