What if this was your street?

iPhone lens was foggy.

Wiped the condensation away.

One more angle. No way a car can pass, let alone another delivery truck, say UPS or FedEx.

 

Returning from a three-hour workout, i rounded the last turn home to see my street completely blocked.

i was on a bicycle, so no big deal.

The only option for my neighbors would be to drive through someone’s yard to pass. Or they could wait for the furniture delivery truck to finish.

The solution for the driver is to park 30 feet further down the street.

Reminds me how obvious getting regular exercise is, yet few make the choice.

Last night driving between two cities i’m speaking in. The Cincinnati Reds sign reads, “Rounding third and heading for home.” PS. i was not driving.

 

We either intentionally focus on our wellness all the time, intentionally or unintentionally neglect our wellness all the time, or a mixture.

Which one of the three would you opt for if you had the choice?

Yesterday’s Hurricane Matthew was not a valid excuse. Figure it out in creative ways.

 

The epic missed wellness opportunity.

It’s this simple – we habitually fail to let go of something in our life. But we continue to proclaim we want to recommit to getting healthy.

Think about it.

We are going to have to stop doing something (that takes our time) to start doing something else (which also takes our time).

We do not get more time. Something has to give in order to get.

Wellness is a daily investment in our time and energy (and possibly money).

Time is the biggest challenge because we are never going to get more than 24 hours a day.

This fact makes perfect sense.

Our mediocre efforts are shouting, “I have no idea what you’re talking about!”
