Do not forget rest in your exercise and nutrition efforts.

When we wake up and want to keep sleeping, that’s a sign.

When we wake up and are glad and ready to get started, we are adequately rested.

Lately, the active (planned) rest days have felt wonderful. No guilt, extra time, and a feeling that less is more.

And to have two active rest days in a row doubles the joy.

Hoping you are experiencing this phenomenon before you die.

Under rated, hard to achieve consistently, and critical?

The request for a good, morning run was declined. Tomorrow?

 

The health priority this morning was sleeping in until 6:30am, to get a full eight hours.

Adequate sleep as we all know is under rated, hard to achieve consistently, and critical for a well balanced life.

Some days it even takes a higher priority than running. But the compromise is a mid morning trip to Gold’s Gym, which puts Starbucks a mile away, on the way home.

Life is good today, no?
