The top caption says, “Little things, it turns out, are extremely important to happiness.” Ok, was this not obvious that we’re just now realizing this? Here are a few of the little things that make humans happy:

  • Normal blood pressure
  • Good resting heart rate
  • Appropriate BMI
  • Good cholesterol reports
  • Good triglyceride level
  • Ability to handle moderate exercise
  • A good night’s sleep

As we near or reach midlife, these things are not entitlements, but privileges that must be earned. And what’s really awesome is that it’s our responsibilty.
