Physical structure

Physical structure.

Structure to me is the physical framework you create to allow your physical process, namely moving, to work.

Structure is built on:

  • Goals
  • Values
  • Beliefs

Your temple’s purpose, body

Your body is the temple housing everything keeping you alive.

Your temple houses all the physical architecture throughout your body.

Your skeleton, tissue, muscles, organs, skin — all of this is physical vibrancy’s estate.

Your body’s purpose is to facilitate the lifetime of movement you’ll need to achieve physical vibrancy.

Motivation

Motivation.

This is the key to everything.

A simple question.

How bad do you want physical vibrancy?

Rest

Rest.

Rest is a super power.

Rest is sleep.

Rest is also an intentional mixture of slowing down.

Rest is backing off, taking time away.

Rest is giving yourself an intentional break, say from running, and picking up bicycling for a short, or even extended, period of time.

Sleep is your ‘nightly workout’, your commitment to putting your body in charge of resting, recharging, and rejuvenating.

Nutrition

handwritten note
This image reads, “Movement is like medicine.” So is nutrition and rest.

Nutrition.

Nutrition is fuel.

Vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, hydration.

Ensure the temple housing everything keeping you alive is a well-oiled, well-fueled machine.

Wonderful and true cliche, “You are what you eat.”
