Finding your rhythm

Second place, 20-year old Sydney McLaughlin, was only 2/100ths of a second off the old world record.

Finding your rhythm has many meanings.

For me one of those meanings is adapting to lifestyle change.

Developing lifestyle normalcy happens through intentional over-focusing, and a growing confidence.

Hoping for a Monday morning Baltimore Anytime Fitness workout in two hours.

This is just wrong

Last night. Writing this at Madrid International Airport at 7am.

This is just wrong.

Only 4.5 hours of sleep in two days.

What have i become?

Pushing boundaries in a rare, unplanned, yet fascinating way.

Son, i do not recommend lack of sleep as an okay standard.

An exception, sure. Life happens.

Read ‘em and weep

For real.

Read ‘em and weep…100 minutes of sleep last night (this morning).

Never saw this coming.

Got inspired by the circumstances.

Broke new ground last night.

Speaking in four hours.

Six hours is pretty good

Toasted’s dining foyer lamps.
Context. PS. Wanted to have a restaurant lunch with our son before flying out last night.

Six hours of sleep on an 8.5-hour flight.

Will take it as a gift.

British Airways did not offer first-class seating and had about 80 business class seats.

The older aircraft, the single electrical outlet (no usb) did not provide electricity.

It’s easy to get unrealistic expectations when you fly airlines like Emirates.

Does 9 extra minutes matter?

First run yesterday.
Second run yesterday.

Does 9 extra minutes matter?

Picture the typical 5am iPhone birds chirping wake up sound.

For the first time in a long time, i hit the snooze on my iPhone.

It’s Saturday and i wanted to experiment with how it felt.

Odds are high i’ll go the rest of the year (7 months) without hitting snooze.

Son, this is an extraordinary gift for being free from a chronic lack of sleep.
