Writing two hours every morning helps me think. Thinking helps me do. Doing helps me serve. Serving helps me find peace and contentment. Peace and contentment floods me with joy.

 

 

The biking to High School, keep it up.

Find and hone your routines.

Experiment with them too.

Build something that serves you.

Adapt as the years go by.

For you will surely be challenged, always, to quit.

Life will ebb and flow.

In the darker times, don’t cave.

Lean into the discomfort of finding new and better ways.

Take care of the temple housing everything keeping you alive.

It will bring you a peace and contentment that will make you rich – rich with joy and gratitude.

Find a creative way to enlarge (expand) what you currently excel at

As a business owner, you need (emphasize need) to maintain and steadily improve your financial health.

Obviously, this is easier said than done.

If you’ve never started a business, some of this will be lost on you – but only because it’s unfamiliar territory.

One way to improve financial health is to expand your box – thinking inside the box instead of thinking outside the box.

Rather than develop something you have no core competency in, find a creative way to enlarge (expand) what you currently excel at.

No biking 40k roundtrip to the gym today.

Heading out in a few minutes to catch a plane.

The goal today will be to walk 10 miles and do some planks and stretch in the hotel.

Business clothes shipped via UPS.

All i have this morning is the small Glacier National Park backpack.

Unbound.

Two-hour flight, seven-mile walk

This was the warm up mileage at noon. Didn’t start app until we had finished walking through two big airports.

 

Goucher college tour
Walking tour of campus at 230pm.

 

Two-hour flight, seven-mile walk.

Up at 3:30am.

Drive to airport at 5am.

Arrive Baltimore 8:45am.

We walked at least seven miles back and forth between hotel and campus.

It’s safe to add another three miles for the airport walking.

Ten-mile day.

A decent compromise from the typical Friday 25-mile bike ride.

We drove four hours to dinner yesterday

Ubered to Bike Shop to pick up a repaired bicycle, yesterday. Passed this Blueberry field on the way home.

We drove four hours to dinner yesterday.

And before that, i logged a nine-mile, one-way bike ride from the local Shopping complex.

Three options:

  1. Drive our van there and load bike in van. Drive home. (no exercise)
  2. Walk to shop, bike home. (not enough time)
  3. Uber to shop, bike home. (a decent compromise)
