What’s It Gonna Be?

Your body is a temple. Housing what keeps you alive.

Wherever you are in life, here’s to your struggle to stay there, or to get better.

My friend and mentor, Lee Cockerell, told me that Bill Marriott once told him, “Lee, you must love flies in your kitchen“.

Lee shot back that he hated flies.

Bill said, “If you hated them, you wouldn’t have any“.

Same with excuses.

We all want it?

What is “it”?

Good health.

Remind yourself everyday that this is what you want. Nothing fancy. Just decent health.

You do want it, don’t you?

To do your best, everyday, what does it take?

Do you help others to do their best?

What does it take to be able to help others everyday?

And, what are the ingredients?

Motivation?

Inspiration?

Excitement?

Goals?

Focus?

Discipline?

Drive?

Talent?

Luck?

I’m convinced it’s luck!

Luck? You’ve got to be kidding, right?

Nope.

You know what I’ve discovered in my 50 years?

It’s amazing, but I’ve found that the harder I work, the luckier I get.
