Heck yeah I’m tired

Heck yeah I’m tired. Ran two miles in the dark this morning. Taught at Disney all day – burning the candle at both ends.

At least I ran. At least the client’s (President of North American division of multi-billion dollar global company) expectations were exceeded. At least I’m in bed early. And at least the brand promise didn’t get snuffed out (if I finish the other three blog posts after this one)…

desperation hides in the shadows, mostly undetected

Skimming Facebook, weirdly saddened by the photos. America is the only country in the world where people are searching for inner peace.

In third-world countries, people are searching for food.

When Americans let their health go it’s, well, sad.

There’s a hunger, a desperation, in the photos on my page that is hard to tell apart from starving children.

Yeah, that’s nebulous, but after some deep, reflective thought, the concept starts to appear.

You see, the only difference is the end goal, the desperation is the same. No?

Run Forrest, run

Make what seems impossible, possible
Make what seems impossible, possible

Forrest Gump was a 1994 classic film about a special boy. He had no idea what he could not do. Because he lacked this knowledge, he proceed to do stuff he didn’t know he was not supposed to be able to do.

Makes me think about staying motivated and active – to remain healthy – for a lifetime. Impossible, no?
