Hitting snooze is a symptom

iPhone clock
Yikes.

Hitting snooze is a symptom.

For what?

Not getting enough sleep.

Even after eight hours last night, this morning i hit snooze three times.

An extra 27 minutes of sleeping – nine minutes per snooze.

i never do this, even though i spent from my 18th birthday to my 40th birthday doing it daily.

Why this morning?

For seven nights in Glacier National Park last week, i averaged six hours of sleep, including the final night getting only 4.5 hours.

It could have been worse

Couple nights ago.

It could have been worse.

What?

The sleep total.

Averaged 5.75 hours a night for four consecutive nights.

Writing and hiking like i mean it.

Good night Moon

Most of us will struggle with sleep habits during our life.

Most of us will struggle with sleep habits during our life.

Our mental attitude, our physical wellness, our spiritual centeredness, our work contribution, and our home organization all contribute to or fight against stress.

Stress, from its many, and often insidious sources, is a leading cause of restlessness.

Ain’t gonna lie

Apple Developers 2018 Keynote conference
Finally watched the June 4, 2018 Apple Developers Keynote. It was 150 minutes long. Siri will have “shortcuts”. Flossing may have shortcuts someday, but for now….

Ain’t gonna lie, flossing at night is something i’d like to skip every once in awhile.

Like last night.

But skipping seems a bit like not showering and dressing appropriately for a job interview or client meeting.

Sleeping with “dirty teeth” just seems counter-productive.

This train-of-thought is one of a million ways i use to stay motivated to over-focus on the important stuff i used to under-focus on or ignore.
