Put my hand out, palm down, to offer the dog a chance to sniff me, like i’ve done for 50 years. The puncture was not deep, but it did puncture.

This is a second location where there was just a scrape.

 

Out of nowhere, we can easily become blindsided.

We never saw it coming.

It can change the course of our lives forever.

Last night’s dog bite to the hand was a complete shock.

The odd’s of rabies are minuscule, but they’re not zero.

Our resting heart rate is probably tied to our body weight

The photo above captured yesterday’s mid-morning heartrate. It was an Apple Watch prompt to take a minute to “breathe”. So i did. Haven’t run in months.

A few minutes ago, i got a verbal agreement that Easter 2017 is the beginning of a new life.

Not to lose weight, but to become more active.

These two parameters add purpose to your life

Yesterday morning, just after sunrise, biking 20k to Golds Gym. Notice the length of the left corner tree shadow. By this time i’ve been up since 5AM, wrote 5 blog posts, made breakfast for my Family, drove Son to school.

 

Can’t imagine what life would be like without a set bedtime and awakening time every day.

These two parameters add purpose to your life and give you something to focus on that signals the start of an exciting day, and the end of a wonderfully productive and joyful day.

The proverbial starting line and finish line.

To not have something worth waking up early for feels like you’re cheating yourself, your potential.

To not have a promise to yourself to call it a day and reward yourself with adequate rest for the coming day seems juvenile to me.
