Don’t click the photo, it’s not a link to the video (that link is further down)…
Randomly stumbled upon this video via a friend’s Facebook update. i believe in Global Warming. i also believe in maintaining an ideal body weight. Both may seem impossible. So why do so many fight for Saving the Planet but not themselves? Because the first requires all of humanity, the second only you. That’s too much responsibility for most.
Should we be suspicious of people who worry about global warning, but aren’t doing anything about their personal health? And i’m not talking about Neil, i’m talking about you and your Family, and all the people in your community.
And the notion of not doing anything means that if we don’t see results, then effort isn’t being applied well enough.
Will your annual physical (you do it every year, right?) this year reveal a picture of great health?

Yesterday a couple minutes into an hour bike ride to the gym.
Was on the phone with a potential client at 630am yesterday, while i took these pictures.
Stopped the bike to capture a group photo.
Over focus on the same things others under focus on or ignore.
When you make a commitment to do this every day for the rest of your life, better things happen more often.
But they don’t happen on demand.
They happen organically, in due time.
Sustainable growth, progress, and change cannot be rushed.
Less than an hour ago i woke up and weighed myself (twice) like i always do.
Hit 157.0 for the first time in years.
i’ve been stuck in the 160-164 range for way longer than i wanted.
Here’s the good news: while stuck there, at least it didn’t get worse. Holding steady, even if it’s a higher weight, is superior to progressively heavier weights. i could be 180 right now had i not been able to hold steady.
It took everything i could bring to each day to hold steady.
And in the last 10 days…a remarkable downturn.
In the 151 – 153 range, vibrancy is at it’s highest.

You literally wouldn’t be able to see the sky under normal circumstances.
There would be no mountain view under normal circumstances.
There is no view of personal wellness and thriving, under normal circumstances.
To experience thriving, you have to be willing to not do ‘normal’. You have to fight like hell initially to reframe your mindset and habits.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 is best) how do you rate yourself for achieving consistently remarkable health metrics (blood pressure, resting heart rate, BMI, flexibility, core, strength, endurance, rest)?
How did you get to a 10?
Do you spend every day at a 10?
What do you do to stay at a 10?
