Random day…then a text from a High School classmate. Wow! What took so long. Records are made and meant to be broken.

What took so long?

That was the first question.

The first response was OMGosh, a Spring Grove Area High School athlete, Ella Bahn, just finished her High School Track & Field career with seven State Titles. That’s incredible. Unprecedented for Spring Grove Track and Field.

Congrats to Andrew Gerber and his new 48.78 Spring Grove High School 400m record. Also incredible is the record he broke stood for nearly half-a-century.

Normal High School Sports. Normal jocks vs nerds.

Not many adults seen exercising.

Spring Grove’s adult population is a mirror reflection of America’s adult population, overwhelmingly overweight or obese.

Avoiding health trauma

Spring Grove, PA
Make a right at my Grandparent’s row home (and the Ford dealership) to drive a few blocks to the (old) High School, the one my dad and i attended).

The healthiest people are the ones who are irrationally passionate about being healthy.

To be unhealthy, for them, would be trauma to their wellness.
