Through two-decades of full-time speaking, consulting, and coaching, i have found the most powerful, and simple, tools are concepts that every single person calls legitimate, logical, and powerful.
My job as a speaker is to rattle the cage of everyone in the audience. If they walk out thinking the same way they did when they came in, we didn’t need to have the meeting.

Leaving home at 6:30am and arriving into the Arkansas hotel 14 hours later reminded me of the 15 years of travel as one of many Disney Keynote Speakers at Disney Institute.
Since retiring from Disney Institute four years ago, travel, by design, has been tolerable.
Yet yesterday’s long day (on a Sunday no less) is proof that “we work while others play” is a demand every professional has to wrestle with.
Today begins week 10 of one-mailbox-a-day. We are at eight mailboxes or the equivalent of two laps around a high school track.

What a top floor view, huh? Sung like “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone”…Ain’t no glamour on the road.
With a preferred speaking style of running shoes, jeans, and a nice shirt, all i need to pack is the dress shirt. Everything else i wear, i wear as i travel.
Walked seven miles roundtrip from hotel to client’s office to speak all day.
Also packed gloves and a hat, knowing the forecast was below freezing.
