Final Keynote, body

Slept poorly the night before the final Disney Service keynote.

Head on the pillow for eight hours, like always.

Should have been an amazing sleep.

Had a suite at the Rosen Shingle Creek.

Far too much room for one person.

As a former hotel Rooms Controller, my guess is my one-night reservation was upgraded to help the Rosen solve someone else’s reservation challenge of staying multiple nights in the same room.

The stress of nailing my final keynote was unexpected.

Was relieved at 5:00 AM when it was finally time to start the day.

Note: Walked five miles and hit the hotel gym before the event started at 8:00 AM.

Who’s in charge?

disney customer service keynote speaker
Disney Customer Service Keynote Speaker. Yeah, that’s me.

Who’s the unquestionable leader? Period. The visionary. The tie-breaker, if necessary. The one in the driver’s seat. The one who controls the temperature in the room bus.

The one who inspires even you, the CEO.

Who is it?

Why did you pick them?

Abe Lincoln fan

Customer service keynote speech slide

Grew up near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

First through fifth grade.

Lincoln Highway.

Not a history nor civil war fan. At all.

But Walt loved Abraham Lincoln.

Hall of Presidents had one audio-animatronic that was the iPhone of audio-animatronics.

And then there was Abe’s chief of staff, a church going man…
