Wisdom what?

We are gonna miss Sam, the self-walking dog.

Wisdom what?

Four wisdom teeth.

Removed yesterday by noon.

At 19, he got it done based on professional recommendation.

Oddly, i still have all four wisdom teeth.

Skipped yesterday’s scheduled workout to accommodate for dental appointment.

Looking forward to this morning’s makeup session.

The real wisdom in this post is the daily, personal example of being a noticer (student) one day and a teacher the next, until it gets so blurred that you one day focus and realize – you are both, all day everyday.

What stops any of us?

Christopher Reeve. A devastating accident left Christopher paralyzed from the neck down. He envisioned a world of empty wheelchairs.

What stops any of us from living an active life.

Nothing.

Sweet.

Warren Buffett wellness

Finished Bob’s Masterclass last night. Was it worth $90? For me, yes. Why? It reinforced what i already know about him.

Bob Iger used to sit on the board of ABC Capital Cities with Warren Buffett.

Bob tells the story that Warren said when you hire someone you should hire for three things:

  1. brains
  2. energy
  3. integrity

If the candidate has two out of three but lacks integrity, the first two will kill you.

Same with wellness, except the opposite.

If you lack integrity for physical vibrancy, no amount of brains nor energy will convince you to become physically vibrant.

i quit sugar one year ago

Halloween, in five days, is the Super Bowl of candy sales and consumption. Photo: the first thing you see entering our local grocery store, yesterday.

i quit sugar one year ago.

The freedom from the pull to eat sugary sweets is liberating, joyful, and revealing.

When i pass on sweets in public, and people ask why, the explanation often reveals the elephant in the room – generally speaking, many Americans are addicted to sugar.

Any time, almost any where

Look.
My key fob worked perfectly, 800 miles from home.

Any time, almost any where.

The three mile round trip walk to Anytime Fitness yesterday was delightful.

Love asking Siri for the closest Anytime Fitness and the list shows the closest ones.

So easy. So convenient.

Felt good to get three gym workouts in the first week back from Glacier.
