What if, right now

Walking through the Church property.

What if, right now, i could not only write today’s five daily, differently-themed blog posts, but i could also write them using dictation and photographs taken while walking to the gym?

What if?

First time for everything

First time for everything.

Pretty cool to write while being driven home.

Glad we got to run this morning, 1,000 miles from home.

Will move walking and gym workouts to Tues-Thurs-Sat this week.

Structured and unstructured exercise

Serendipitously captured in the moment, recording “If Disney Ran Your Life” with Jody Maberry.

Structured and unstructured exercise is a great way to have something predictable planned and to have some things just morph into a lifestyle change.

Riding a bicycle to the post office, dentist, or grocery store is a great alternative to driving.

Waking to dinner is another.

Be disciplined for the structured part and be present for the other stuff.

What’s your health’s grade for yesterday’s efforts?

healthy foods are everywhere in the dining hall
We walked everywhere. Healthy food choices where abundant. And sleep was easy to get all that was needed.

What’s your health’s grade for yesterday’s efforts?

The long way is the short cut

Walt Disney World toll plaza entrance
Study like you mean it.

The long way is the short cut.

August 6, 2018 we began running as a Family. One mailbox a day for a week.

We added an additional mailbox most weeks, but in some weeks, we didn’t add a mailbox.

Mailboxes here average 100 meters apart.

One mile would be 16 mailboxes.

We began week 24 this morning.

Just shy of half a year and we have finally made it to one mile without stopping.

The long way is the short cut.

And yeah, study like you mean it – it reveals insights like “the long way is the short cut”.
