Age-related symptoms become more frequent

Disney Institute Keynote Speakers
Back in 2008 (old Disney Institute logo) when i wore sunglasses and contact lenses. Our son (now 17) has grown about two feet since this photo.

In the past year or so, i can’t tell if i’m tired or if my eyes are simply drier than normal, and does the dryness create an effect that mimicks being tired?

Dry eye syndrome or keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) is something i just Googled. Probably something else since the inflammation and redness aren’t symptoms.

This article was informative.

What’s our commitment as we age?

Walt Disney World horizon
i remember when Spaceship Earth was the only image rising out of this horizon. Almost invisible (lower middle), Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Vacation Club Villas (Copper Creek) on Bay Lake’s shore.

Walt Disney World horizon
The Swan and Dolphin Resorts didn’t grace the right horizon until 1989.

As we age, what happens to our commitment to remain vibrantly healthy?

For starters, do we see food as fuel or comfort?

What will i regret not doing?

Airport overflow parking
Random travelers i met yesterday in Florida airport overflow parking.

What will i regret not doing?

And is it possible to avoid it?

But if i discover some sort of regret, will it overwhelm me?

Will i see a fighting chance or just give up?

The easier it is to get healthy, the less it’s worth

Mid Life Celebration book
Over three years ago…submitting files to the publisher.

i am biased because i believe the long way is the short cut – the easier it is to get healthy, the less it’s worth.

Yes, taking pills solves for many issues that arise as we age.

Here’s a thought…there’s a preventative “pill” that attacks many ailments before their onset.

The pill?

Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest.

And don’t even get me started on “stress reduction” – having spiritual/emotional strength to manage a generally overwhelming and unpredictable life.

Retooling our busy schedule

Disney management expert speakers
Yesterday on LinkedIn. i feel the same way about personal wellness.

Retooling our busy schedule to fit in regular exercise?

How can we not?

The best time to do this was when we were in High School.

The second best time is this week.
