Progress requires motivation after the honeymoon phase. “Get healthy” honeymoons last a few weeks to a few months. This applies to exercise routines too.
Yesterday ran nine miles, including a four-mile warmup with the fourth mile at seven minutes flat. Aimed for seven flat, delivered seven exactly.
Walked mile five and then began another four mile workout, photo above.
Aim for the first mile in the second set was six minutes flat, or faster.
At 800 meters, was a bit behind at 3:08.
Second 800 was 2:59.
Will take 6:07.
That second 800 really felt amazing.
Find a million ways to stay motivated.

These seven universally apply to any type of exercise:
Improve one, they all improve. Neglect one, they all suffer.
Then compound the effects either way when two, three or four are improved or suffer.
Ignoring this does not negate it’s truth.
