All the way. Both directions. It’s lined with endless telephone poles.

We rest our body daily with sleep.

We probably (pretty sure) we rest our mind with daily sleep.

We do not exercise all day.

Yet it seems, to me at least, that i think all day long.

Consistently.

Perhaps even constantly, like breathing.

Taking the Sinopah (boat) again shaved 2.5 miles off our roundtrip distance.

Once again, the 8:00 AM boat trip was ‘magical’.

Have had the All-Trails app for several years. Not relying on it to navigate this Summer. But using it to test-drive it’s accuracy.

If you remember, the trailhead sign said 3.4 miles one way. My fitness app says it’s 4.8 miles.

There is magic in walking uphill and downhill.

There is magic in simply walking.

But if you are able to go up and down, do it.

And if you are able but don’t do it, you’re missing a physical vibrancy treat.

We board the Sinopah (boat) at 7:50 AM for an 8:00 AM departure.

We sail across Two Medicine Lake to today’s trailhead. Our hike is called “Upper Two Medicine Lake Trail”.

Rather than simplify writing five daily blogs, i’ve actually been averaging more than five per day.

This is not the goal.

In fact, spending less time to write five is the goal.

It felt good to try a late start to the hike.

Not a fan of late starts.

But like some other things this Summer, creative experimentation feels good.
