99.99% of the guests hiking Hidden Lake Trail never see it from this angle. This is not a judgement, it is a fact. The ones who see it from here are the ones with a deeper relationship with Glacier.

Playing it safe and having fun often compete.

There’s a time and place for everything.

Behaving like an adult and behaving like a child are often at odds.

The challenge — the opportunity — is dancing with both.

Aging reminds me how much fun being childlike (self-centered, creative, and spontaneous) is.

Give mountain weather some time and it will sort itself out.

Time is the key.

And motivation.

And habits.

And personal standards.
