Day 6 East Glacier, body

20-second video: Walked two more miles after dinner last night. So back to back 8-mile days.

Say nope to dope. Wise thought. Unwise location choice.

Took an unplanned, slow walk around town last night.

The beauty of the decision is three-fold:

  1. It’s daylight until 10pm.
  2. No driving required to reach a trailhead.
  3. It served as a nice ‘body massage’.

Day 5 East Glacier, body

9-second video: The shadow on the mountain hints to early morning.

Eight miles yesterday.

Six today.

Planned on 12 miles today but the Universe advised differently.

Day 3 East Glacier, body

Whiteboard with a drawing of a national park Lodge
May 10, opening day. Two months ago.

Today is first day of Summer trip.

Third visit this year.

We had two firsts in 2024:

  1. First Winter visit.
  2. First Spring visit, in early May.

Literally didn’t hike. At all.

Yet we saw and experienced many things for the first time.

A frozen St Mary Lake.

Lake McDonald Lodge opening Day.

And many more.

Day 2 East Glacier, body

Family of four at Disney’s Epcot
We love dining at Japan’s Teppen Edo. We also love using our Cast holiday discount coupons for 50% off the meal.
6-second video: Yesterday, Project Tomorrow. Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.

A three-mile round-trip walk through Walt Disney World to have lunch never gets old.

Assuming an adult one-day ticket is about $130, our lifetime Disney passes just saved us over $500.

Cheryl and i spent 66-combined years serving our Cast and Guests at Walt Disney World.

We feel confident, and humble, that we earned every Cast Member benefit we get to freely enjoy.
