The math is the math, body

bicycle plates
These dishes were the first ones we purchased as newlyweds, inspired by our bicycle honeymoon trip. By the way, they are neither dishwasher nor microwavable safe.

In yesterday’s math equation regarding possibly speaking on Vancouver Island in October, the usual decision making criteria:

Date, location, fee, client.

Date: October 14. October is still a strong hurricane month. Hurricane Milton on October 5-10, 2024. Strongest hurricane on record. Ever. We raced at the last minute from Banff to Orlando and i swore i would never get in that situation again. Ever. This is why we did not stay in Glacier last September nor plan to visit this September. Nope.

Location: My math conservatively shows, with no travel glitches, a 17-hour travel day. Even if split into two days, that’s two 8+ hour travel days just to get to the hotel. Nope.

Fee: Reasonable retail price. However, subtracting the 20% speakers bureau fee, the travel expenses, the Canadian withholding tax (new), and my IRS tax obligation…nope.

Client: This one is the only definite win. A definite yes. Big Speak’s Tracy and Amy are wonderful.
