Here, have some free stuff

WPS 2015 new student orientation
Metaphorically speaking, “Right this way for your free stuff”.

What is given to you can be taken away. But what you accomplish for yourself stays with you as long as you value it and protect it.

Highly Trail near Logan Pass
Just around the bend was a dangerous proposition.

A deeply engrained lesson from Disney: Safety first.

Only 300 meters into the Highline Trail and we encountered dangerously high winds.

To turn back would be disappointing.

To continue would be potentially life threatening.

Easy choice.

Good morning from Rising Sun Motor Inn and Cabins

Glacier Park looking East from Logan Pass.
Yesterday we made only one quick stop here for a photo.

Black Bear yearling near Rising Sun Motor Inn and Cabins.
Last night on the way to dinner. Bear in left corner.

Had the foresight to bring a third small backpack (we each only needed one) to carry wool hats, gloves, and vests.

Daytime highs in the 70’s. Nighttime lows near 50. Add the elevation and windchill.

We were ‘cold’ from the minute we exited Kalispel airport yesterday.
